The AGRIO | WILD Merlot-Syrah is a special combination of these two international and very famous varieties that are cultivated for many years in the Mountainous Aigialeia with excellent results.
It is a red wine that combines harmonically characteristics of wines that come from mountainous vineyards and are of Mediterranean style. In order to keep as intact as possible the unique characteristics of both the varietals and the vineyard’s terroir, we decided to ferment the wine with the indigenous yeasts of the vineyards and to make no use of sulfites in any step of the winemaking process. A wine with a beautiful ruby red color.
A wine with a beautiful ruby red color. The intensive varietal aroma of the two grape varieties, dominated by red fruits, green herbs and butter caramel. Medium body with velvet tannins and distinctive acidity.
The WILD Merlot-Syrah of Kanakaris Winery can be an ideal companion of roasted meat and pasta with light red sauces. Also ideal with the Greek ‘ladera’ (casserole dishes with vegetables and plenty of olive oil).
