NOTOS Rose is a very special combination of two indigenous grape varieties from the Slopes of Aigialeia. The first one is the main indigenous variety, the reddish Roditis and the other is the red variety Mavro Kalavrytino.
Special attention is paid to the very careful selection as much of the upper lying mountainous vineyards as of the wine grapes, which arrive at the winery in optimum condition and ripening. For the vinification, skin contact is involved for twenty-four hours at low temperature, for the wine to receive its light rose to dark salmon colour and a pleasant bouquet of citrus fruits, red fruits and flowers.
In the mouth, it is well-structured and refreshing with a pleasant acidity that balances its maturity.
NOTOS Rose is ideal with pizza, Asian cuisine, pasta and light ‘ladera’ dishes of the Greek cuisine (vegetable dishes in plenty of olive oil).
