The 10³ Selected Agiorgitiko comes from vineyards of the region of Nemea, which are selected with very strict criteria and lie in the foothills of mount Koutsi.
Its vinification includes prefementing extraction at 10ºC for the least period of three days, which is followed by the typical extraction for seven days at gradually increasing temperature.
The short-termed micro-oxygenation, which takes place for about three months, prepares the wine for the aging in oak barrels for the least period of ten months.
The selected Agiorgitiko 10³ is a classic red wine with a rich aroma of red fruits, stewed fruits, coffee, chocolate, incense, tobacco. Full-bodied and complex in the mouth, with velvety tannins. An ideal companion for red meat, game, the ‘kokkinisto’ (=braised beef) of the Greek cuisine, pasta with strong red sauces.
